The soundtrack for the cassette generation
Three years after their successful album "Dopoguerra," Italy's probably most thriving band at the intersection of indie, post rock, and new wave, Klimt 1918, have finished recording their third album. This work with the picturesque title "Just In Case We'll Never Meet Again (Soundtrack For The Cassette Generation)" once more contains epic and excellently produced songs brought to life by an amazing passion and energy, characterised by a mood of bittersweet nostalgia, yearning, and uplifting euphoria. On "Just In Case ...", Klimt 1918 combine the best moments of My Bloody Valentine, The Cure, and U2 with those of modern rock icons such as Dredg, Interpol, Anathema, and Katatonia to create a unique experience of boundless musicality.
