Ten years ago, in the early summer of 1999, Autumnblaze released their lyrical and epic debut album "DämmerElbenTragödie". To celebrate this anniversary, Prophecy Productions will release - in parallel with the new Autumnblaze studio album "Perdition Diaries" - a special edition of "DämmerElbenTragödie" as a double CD containing all official recordings by Autumnblaze preceding the "Bleak" era.

The "DämmerElbenTragödie" bonus CD includes:
- "Dreaming Moonspark Fairylands" (Autumnblaze's 1997 seven-track demo, for the first time available on CD!)
- "Every Silent Moment I Weep" (7" EP from 1998 with two tracks, for the first time available on CD!)

The unplugged album

In celebration of their unplugged tour with Antimatter in autumn 2003, Autumnblaze re-recorded songs from the albums "Bleak" and "Mute Boy Sad Girl" for the acoustic album "The Mute Sessions". While the band combined trippy beats with rocking eruptions on their previous releases, the group around Markus B. show their proximity to classic singer/songwriters on "The Mute Sessions" to enchant their listeners in a much more intimate way.

A tribute to the dark metal of the 1990s

With their 2009 reunion album "Perdition Diaries", the classic line-up of Autumnblaze - Eldron, Arisjel, and Schwadorf - has risen like a phoenix from the ashes. This album is a reminiscence to the dark metal of the 1990s, to a time where the conventions of metal were trampled underfoot and the genre's conceptual chains were irrevocably broken from the inside. Eldron puts it more precisely: "Bands such as Paradise Lost, Anathema, Katatonia, My Dying Bride, Dark Tranquillity, or At The Gates are prime examples for an exploration of the human soul, the struggle of the individual against the chasms of life. Even though their distinctive melancholy is still an essential feature of Autumnblaze, their fourth album surprises with an unexpected musical open-mindedness and energy. “Words Are Not What They Seem” gives you a lot more room to breathe than its predecessors and presents an astonishing and maybe unique melange of compositional depth and the lightness you feel.
With “Words Are Not What They Seem,” Autumnblaze continue to follow their very own way, never bending to other’s expectations or the standards of genres, but instead always driven by an inner need to sincerely express their own emotions.
Apart from their self-written tracks, there is a cover version of the Twin Peaks theme “Falling” featured on the album.
