Founded in the winter of 2006, Nàttsòl have made it their mission to combine melodic Black Metal with that special kind of aggression and mysticism that made the Norwegian school so legendary. Ulver's renowned trilogy might be a point of reference for Nàttsòl's musical journey, but they have definitely found their own manner in which to praise the magic of Norwegian nature. The predominant clanging fury is regularly broken up by skilful acoustic guitar parts and clear chants, taking the listener to the solitary vastness of Norwegian nature, to the world of fjords, mountains, forests, and mirror-like lakes, a world as unreal and mysterious as the music of Nàttsòl itself.
